Our collaboration
Cloud Assess engaged Amplifyn as a long-term modernisation partner during a pivotal phase of product evolution and enterprise expansion. As the platform gained traction among Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), the need to elevate the user experience while maintaining operational stability became increasingly critical.
Working closely with product leadership, engineering, and customer-facing teams, we operated as an embedded extension of the organisation, aligning design strategy with business growth objectives. Beyond interface improvements, we supported feature conceptualisation, rapid prototyping for investor and board-level discussions, and continuous UX optimisation while the platform remained live and actively evolving. This sustained collaboration ensured that Cloud Assess could modernise confidently without disrupting its existing customer base, while simultaneously preparing the product for accelerated growth across enterprise and regulatory environments.
We helped evolve the existing user experience without disrupting customers who already depended on the platform.
The business opportunity that forced software modernisation
Founded in 2012, Cloud Assess as a leading Australian assessment and training platform is serving an extensive customer base including global brands, privately owned corporates, government agencies, and training operations across the region.
A major turning point came in 2017, when Cloud Assess partnered with its first large enterprise customer McDonald’s Australia. This direction accelerated during Covid, when remote training became essential, eventually leading Cloud Assess to partner with Amplifyn to modernise their platform and support its rapid growth across RTOs and enterprises.
This challenge required Cloud Assess to rethink how:

Training at Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) operates.

Address complex business needs of enterprises training frontline workers.

Training and Assessment workflows should function at global corporates.

To adapt with local regulations and industry standards.
